The “Daddy, I wanna [insert need here]” Stage

From Blog

As you can tell from the above image, Noah is a goofball. Recently, he had some 2-year pictures taken at Sears (yes, I’m inadvertently exposing Sears to some major free advertising) and he LOVED it. Every time they would snap the picture, Noah would look over at the image on the screen and say, “Aww, cute!” It was funny as heck.

The title of this entry pretty much explains the stage that Noah is in right now. “Daddy, I wanna watch Nemo,” or “I wanna vote for Obama.” If he says the latter, I usually go through this long explanation about how the constitution was amended in 1971 so that people 18 years or older can vote, but he still isn’t old enough. By the time I’m done explaning the whole “legal voting age” thing, I look over and he’s always gone. Hmmm…

In all seriousness, Noah is becoming his own little man. He is a very independent little guy, and hardly ever needs my help doing something. In fact, I get yelled at usually for helping him. For example, the other day we were at the park, and I had to lift Noah from the ladder to the platform. He turned around and fiercely explained how he could do it himself. I apologized of course, and said it would never happen again lol.

For me, life is all over the place. I am STILL, STILL working at Best Buy. I have been there so long that people who know me now ask, “Oh, you’re still with Best Buy?” which is embarassing, of course.

I will continue this blog at a later date. My wife is home and I have to watch big brother.
